Event Details

The SF New Tech May Meetup will focus on the world of online video -- and we'll be at the Metreon in downtown San Francisco!

 Companies scheduled to demo include:

  • Podtech & ScobleShow -  Robert Scoble, Blogger/Vlogger Extraordinaire
  • Magnify.net - Steve Rosenbaum, CEO & Founder
  • Justin.TV - Justin Kan live from LA w/ Kyle Vogt, Cast, Crew & Hardware Hacker
  • TurnHere - John McWeeny, Senior Vice President, Business Development
  • Kyte - Daniel Graf, CEO & Founder

Om Malik of NewTeeVee.com (and of course GigaOm) will be on hand to moderate the Q & A and provide commentary.

It doesn't end there!

Veodia will record the event and attempt to broadcast the event LIVE online  -- Metreon bandwidth allowing. Veodia will also be giving personal demos (over pizza and beer!) on how they're "The Live TV Studio In Your Browser".

Tune in here -- and ask questions!

AND -- the first 100 people in the door will receive a little something-something from ThinkFree!

As always, we'll have our famous "60 Second Soapbox" for those of you who'd like to bounce a question, a need, a desire, a joke, you name it, off the room of tech influencers.  The mic is yours for 60 seconds - GO!

We've heard more and more stories about folks who've found new jobs, about companies who've gotten new clients, and how folks have met new partners at our meetups.   And that's what it's all about folks!

About SF New Tech

As seen in The Wall Street Journal (8/4/11), SF New Tech is the largest, longest-running, and most-loved tech event in San Francisco with nearly 10,000 members -- and growing daily!

We serve the startup community of the Bay Area (and beyond) by providing a platform for companies and developers to showcase and discuss the latest-and-greatest new tech.

We're not your typical, boring business event.  We're the best place in town to get to meet, greet, and grill people behind some of the most promising new tech in the world.

SF New Tech is currated and hosted by Myles Weissleder.
